‘I really enjoyed my photo shoot with Andrea. It was a cold day but great fun and Andrea made me laugh. The pictures she took are beautiful - the light and the colours really capture my mood on the day and the struggles I have had in my teenage years.

I was able to choose my own beach and my own clothes, but she helped me decide which outfit would work best. She went for a really natural look and I was over the moon with the photographs and video that she made.’

'I discovered Andrea's photography page via Instagram and was taken by her dreamy style. I reached out in the hope she'd be willing to photograph me as I desperately wanted to see myself in a different light. I've suffered from Alopecia my entire life and never completely liked the way I look without head hair. More recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I found myself at a low point after months of chemotherapy treatment.

‘After seeing some breathtaking images taken by Andrea of a dear friend of mine, I knew immediately that I wanted to work with Andrea.

Ecstatic dance has been a huge part of my healing and spiritual journey. It lights up my soul and allows me to stop my mind and truly live from my heart. I wanted a photographer who would be able to capture the true soul essence of what dance does to me, and the freedom it provides.

Having never done anything like this before, it was a huge step out of my comfort zone, but even from the initial contact, I felt a deep trust of Andrea to hold me in my vulnerability. Throughout the whole shoot, she made me feel so safe and comfortable to be my authentic self, only giving direction when needed. I smiled throughout the whole time of dancing and have never felt so empowered and beautiful.
